This can be caused by one of 4 things:

  1. Data lost in Internet transfer (try "Refresh" before reporting errors).
  2. The page was moved, renamed or deleted.
  3. Incorrect URL ( and report the referring site).
  4. There is a problem with your internet settings, service, or network interface card.

Set your Internet security level to "Medium"
Instructions for Internet Explorer:

  1. Right-click the Internet Explorer icon.
  2. Click "Properties".
  3. Click the "Security" tab.
  4. Click the "Internet" zone.
  5. Click the "Custom Level" button.
  6. Click "Medium" in the drop-down list at the bottom.
  7. Advanced users can set the security for each item in the upper window.
  8. Click "OK" until all dialogue boxes are closed.

To check your connection settings in Windows XP (recent previous versions of Windows should be similar):

  1. Click the "Start" button.
  2. Click "Control Panel".
  3. Click "Network and Internet Connections".
  4. Click "Network Connections" to see that it is enabled and to check your settings.
  5. Right-click the "Broadband Connection", "LAN and High-Speed Internet Connection" or other connection icons; click "Enable" if it is currently disabled or "Properties" to change settings.

To put a LAN icon in the "system tray" of your toolbar so that you will see alert ballons when your connection is not constant (directions for Windows XP, recent previous versions of Windows should be similar):

  1. Click the "Start" button.
  2. Click "Control Panel".
  3. Click the "Network and Internet Connections" icon.
  4. Right-click "LAN and High-Speed Internet Connection" icon.
  5. Click "Properties".
  6. Near the bottom of the dialogue box, check "Show icon in notification area when connected."

If get warnings about "Resource Errors" when you first boot your computer, contact the manufacturer of your computer or NIC (Network Interface Card) for help.
